We eagerly await this year’s Songs and Sonnets Service! It will be December 22 at 10:30 a.m., featuring original Christmas poetry written by our own congregants, as well as four special choir anthems. The opening choir selection will be a beautiful setting of “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” arranged by Dan Forrest. The choir will also sing the gorgeous "The Shepherds” (from Der Stern von Bethlehem) by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger, and the lovely Nativity Carol" by John Rutter. The choir will close with an upbeat a cappella settng of "Angels We Have Heard on High" arranged by Craig Courtney. The service will be accompanied by cello, flute, and piano, and will be followed by wonderful refreshments. It will be an inspiring morning of celebration and worship.
